Up for sale is a rare, matching trio of authentic antique wooden frames dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1880–1920). Featuring a deep-profile "cassetta" style box shape, these frames boast a rich, dark, naturally aged finish with incredible historic character.
Because they feature a completely solid, sealed wooden back panel, they are incredibly versatile. They can be used as unique front-loading shadow boxes, flat tabletop risers for decor, or as panels to mount mirrors, artwork, or antique plaques directly onto the front.
Quantity: matching set of three (3) frames—highly sought after for triptych displays or gallery walls.
Hardware: Features beautiful, heavily oxidized antique iron corner brackets on the sides, showing gorgeous rustic patina and pitting. One frame includes an attached hanging wire on the back.
Woodwork: The reverse side shows authentic, rugged historic tool/saw marks.
Wear: True antique condition. Expect gorgeous, genuine age-related wear including minor chipping on the corners, surface scuffs, and a beautifully crackled dark varnish.
Please review the photos closely to appreciate the exact patina, texture, and historic wear of this beautiful set
