Unit of Sale Lot of 2

Up for sale is a fantastic lot of two (2) original 19th-century vintage stereoview cards featuring historic and scenic architectural locations across Scotland. Perfect for collectors of early UK photography, Scottish history, or stereograph cards.

### Included in this Lot:

1. **Card #30: "Abbotsford. Residence of Sir Walter Scott."**

* **Details:** This features a striking, crisp landscape view of Abbotsford House, the legendary Scottish Baronial estate of historical novelist Sir Walter Scott located in the Scottish Borders.

* **Mount:** Classic flat yellow/gold cardboard mount typical of the 1870s–1880s era. Applied white paper label on the reverse side.

2. **Card #4 C: "Brig o' Balgownie, Aberdeen." by G.W. Wilson**

* **Details:** A historic view of the iconic 13th-century Gothic stone bridge arching over the River Don.

* **Photographer:** Stamped explicitly on the reverse by George Washington Wilson ("G. W. Wilson, Photographer, Aberdeen"), who famously served as the Photographer to Her Majesty Queen Victoria.

* **Mount:** Distinct light green pasted paper backing over a standard tan cardboard mount.

### Condition:

Both cards are authentic antique items well over 130 years old and exhibit expected age-related wear. This includes some minor edge/corner scuffing, light surface soil spots, and normal toning to the albumen photo prints. The G.W. Wilson card has a small layer tear on the left edge of the back paper mount (please see photos for exact condition details). Overall, the image clarity and 3D depth effect remain clear and sharp.

* Prompt shipping with tracking provided.
