For your consideration, we are offering for sale this circa 1996 Aurora Optima Fountain Pen in the Burgundy/Bordeaux resin material fitted with a 14K Gold Medium Nib. This Aurora comes with the original boxes and Aurora Literature. This fountain pen has never been inked, and I consider this fountain pen to be in Mint condition.
This Aurora Optima cap and barrel are in perfect condition with no cracks, nicks, scratches, or repairs. The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel via threading. The 18K gold-plated trim is perfect, with no scratches or wear. The Fountain Pen measures 5\" inches in length capped, 6\" inches in length posted, and weighs .76 ounces.
This pen has the Burgundy or Bordeaux color in the resin material. The barrel and cap are hand-turned and highly polished. The barrel is then imprinted with the Aurora name, a nod toward its vintage roots. The cap has a wide gold-plated engraved band with AURORA centered under the clip, flanked by a Greek key design accented by two black lacquer stripes. There is a clear window by the section, allowing one to see the ink levels inside the pen. The filling unit is a piston filler style and works as it was designed to. I tested it with water, and it works perfectly.
The nib is marked 14K/585 Aurora and has a medium point measuring .80mm when using digital calipers. The nib has never been inked, and I wanted to keep it that way for the next owner!
This Aurora is like new, but is in the old style from the mid-1990s and it has never been inked. Comes in the original Aurora boxes and the Aurora Literature.
This is an absolutely beautiful and high-quality Aurora Fountain Pen with fantastic color in Mint, Never Inked Condition. A marvelous addition to your writing arsenal collection.

If you would like different pictures or have concerns on damage, on whether it is repainted or repaired ask before offerding. If I can find out, I will. These are antiques so expect them not to be \"perfect\".
