1968 Democratic National Convention News Press Balcony Pass Chicago DNC Riots For Sale

The pass is marked “NEWS-PRESS” and “PRESS BALCONY”, with serial number 0586, and was used for entry and exit through the designated News-Press door. It retains its original cord and the convention emblem on the front.

The 1968 Democratic National Convention was held in Chicago from August 26–29 and remains one of the most historically significant and heavily documented U.S. political conventions of the 20th century. Contemporary convention records include separate press, credential, seating and schedule files, confirming the importance of media access and credentialing at the event.
