Lobsang Rampa, author of The Third Eye.Published by Flying Saucer News Co., 119 East 96th Street, New York, N.Y. 10028, this unusual large-format publication carries an original 25¢ single-copy price and is marked Vol. 1, No. 1.The publication presents Rampa’s extraordinary account of an alleged journey aboard an extraterrestrial spacecraft and visit to Venus. At the conclusion, the publisher states that the article was printed with permission of Britain’s Flying Saucer Review, 21 Cecil Court, London, and notes its association with editor Brinsley Le Poer Trench.Also included is period advertising for early UFO and flying-saucer literature, including titles associated with George Adamski, Gray Barker and other important figures from the early UFO/contactee era.Condition: Remarkably well preserved for this fragile, large-format publication.
