1958 Soviet Space Race Capitalism vs Socialism Propaganda Satire USSR Postcard

📜 Description

Vintage Soviet propaganda postcard from the series "The Mighty Advance of the Seven-Year Plan" by artist N. Dolgorukov.

This striking Cold War-era cartoon depicts capitalist figures watching in disbelief as Soviet rockets soar into space. The caption humorously states: "We said 40 years ago that the Bolsheviks would not remain on Earth..." — a reference to the Soviet Union's achievements in space exploration and technological progress.

The artwork combines space race themes, political satire, and anti-capitalist propaganda, making it a fascinating example of Soviet graphic art from the early space age.
