1957–1962 Prudential Insurance Co. Premium Receipt Book Vintage For Sale

The cover features Prudential’s famous Rock of Gibraltar emblem and lists the company’s field office at 1401 Chapel Avenue, Merchantville, New Jersey. The back is marked “Ed 10-57” and “Printed in U.S.A. by Prudential Press.”

Inside are period premium-payment calendars, handwritten policy numbers, insured names, payment records, and signatures of Prudential agents. The calendar pages extend into 1961 and 1962, documenting several years of actual use.

Unlike an unused advertising booklet, this example preserves the everyday workings of mid-century life insurance—how premiums were collected and recorded before electronic banking and automatic payments became commonplace.

A nice piece of Prudential advertising, New Jersey history, insurance memorabilia, financial ephemera, and 1950s–1960s American business history.
