Ten-month-old Perry, a healthy, happy little fellow, is definitely the main event in the Ray Anthony household. Ray and Mamie find themselves up early one morning, working till late some nights, traveling, living in hotels, and eating on a hit-or-miss basis. Sundays are usually on a more normal schedule with Perry, the focal point of their combined interests.
Exercise is definitely part of Ray's daily schedule too. Although they're clowning here, 20 minutes of concentrated calisthenics keeps him in top physical condition.
Of their home life, Ray says, "We were in love and we married. But before we did, we did some serious thinking about our future together. We both worked hard since we were kids for careers, and we agreed that with pre-planning we could achieve a marriage that could provide a harmonious home and still room for our professional lives. Another point in our agreement is that Mamie will not let her acting interfere with having babies. We have Perry, and now we'd like another boy and two girls to make the family complete."Mamie Van Doren is an American retired actress and model.
