This is a rare and highly collectible uncut sheet of vintage-style decal stickers (19) featuring the iconic "Steeplechase Face" from Coney Island's Steeplechase Park. It is particularly rare to find these decals in an unused and uncut sheet. The sheet contains 24 stickers, with one sticker missing from the original set. These stickers are marked with "CONEY ISLAND" and "PHASE 2 BUILDERS," a unique detail that dates them and adds to their collectible value.
About the Steeplechase Face:
The iconic grinning face, known as the "Steeplechase Face," was the mascot of Steeplechase Park, one of Coney Island's most famous and beloved amusement parks. The face, with its mischievous grin and large eyes, was a symbol of the park's fun and thrilling atmosphere. It was a ubiquitous image throughout the park, appearing on signage, tickets, souvenirs, and promotional materials. The park was famous for its signature ride, "The Steeplechase," a horse-themed ride that raced down parallel tracks.
"Phase 2 Builders" History:
The "Phase 2 Builders" text on the stickers is a significant clue to their origin. Lost &Damaged Claims
For lost parcels, you must wait for 21 days domestic (US) and 45 days for International shipments. For shipments to Italy, you must wait 60 days before filing. Damage claims can be filed immediately. All claims should be submitted within 90 days from the date of shipment. All International parcels will be insured with U-PIC, please do not file a "not received "claim with PayPal, just contact us to resolve your problem.
