1942 Authentic WWII Japanese Officer Sword With Makers Marks. VERY RARE For Sale

This is a very rare piece of WWII history. This sword was made for a Japanese Officer in the Japanese Navy. It has the ⚓️ stamp and what makes this even more rare is that i believe that it has the date stamp and at the very least the region or place it was made. The 3rd and 4th pictures show the information i found that I believe is accurate. This sword looks like it was carried through out at least some of the war. I was able to get the bamboo pin out of the handle and the handle and other hardware came off as it is supposed to. I took the best pictures I could of the markings on the handle but it does have some rust on it. I didn\'t try and clean it because I don\'t know enough about cleaning the rust off without damaging the sword. The sheath is pretty beat up. The end is completely broken so the tip of the sword sticks out a bit. I don\'t know much about this item other than what I was able to find easily online. With some professional restoration on the handle you might be able to find more important information about this piece of history. The length and weight are listed below and they both add authenticity to this very rare find. Please ask any questions before you purchase this so it won\'t have to risk being shipped back and lost or stolen in the mail. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have but as I said I don\'t know much about it other then what is stated above. Thank you.

Length of handle is 10in from bottom to the widest part of the hilt.

The sword by itself weighs 2.9 lbs.

The full length of the sword is about 37 to 38in.
