1. CHEZ EDDIE GRILL CABARET - 2005 RUE BLEURY, MONTREAL (Yellow Die-Cut, 3-Panel)
From Montreal's legendary entertainment district on Bleury Street. Located in the heart of what would become known as the Red-Light District and later Quartier des spectacles. This area was Montreal's answer to NYC's 52nd Street—packed with cabarets, jazz clubs, and nightlife. Bleury Street was home to the Imperial Cinema (1913) and surrounded by dozens of legendary venues where stars like Frank Sinatra, Édith Piaf, Duke Ellington, and Oscar Peterson performed.
Features complete dinner menu with French-Canadian and Continental cuisine. Rare die-cut shape with original yellow coloring showing "Cabaret" designation. Depression-era pricing (most items under $1).
EXTREMELY RARE: Very few Montreal cabaret menus from this era survive. This was Montreal's Prohibition-era entertainment hub, attracting tourists from across North America.
2. FORD HOTEL MONTREAL - BISHOP GRILL MENU (Cream-Colored)
From the historic Ford Hotel Montreal at 1425 Boulevard Dorchester West (now René-Lévesque) at Bishop Street. Built 1929, operated as luxury hotel 1930-1948 with 750 rooms. Prime downtown Montreal location in the city's prestigious hotel district. Part of the R.T. Ford & Company chain (Rochester, Buffalo, Toronto, Montreal). The Bishop Grill was the hotel's elegant dining room, named after Bishop Street. Extensive upscale menu: Hors d'Oeuvres, Soups, Eggs & Omelettes, Fish, Grill, Specialties, Cold Meats, Vegetables, Salads, Sandwiches, Cheese, Desserts, Fruits & Preserves, Cereals, and Beverages. Note at bottom: "Room Service à la Carte, No Extra Charge".
The Ford Hotel closed in 1948 and became CBC-Radio-Canada headquarters (1948-1970). Building still stands today at René-Lévesque and Mackay.

From the legendary 15 Barrow Street address in the heart of Greenwich Village. This building became one of NYC's most famous jazz venues over the decades. During the 1940s housed various cafés and nightspots before becoming "The Pied Piper" jazz club (1944-1945) and later the famous Café Bohemia (1955-1960). Café Latino represents an early 1940s incarnation of this historic venue.

Official promotional menu from the 1939-1940 New York World's Fair. From Mayflower Donuts "Doughnut Casino" in the Health Building near the Trylon and Perisphere. Features donuts, waffles, eggs, sandwiches, and beverages with Maxwell House Coffee branding. Prices range 5-25 cents—authentic Depression-era pricing.
Rare circular die-cut shape designed as both menu and souvenir. Excellent period graphic design and typography. The World's Fair attracted 44 million visitors; original ephemera is highly collectible.
