1937 Antique German EISEN Tin Bakelite Tombstone Radio Pencil Sharpener:
$125.00

Hello dear customers,

Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Czechoslovakian KIN 512 mechanical desk pencil sharpener, dating approximately to the mid-20th century.

This attractive and substantial desktop sharpener features a dark chocolate-brown Bakelite-style molded body with a beautiful glossy finish, contrasting brass-tone metal components, and an original hand crank with a cream-yellow handle.

The sharpener has an interesting industrial design, with a rounded upper housing, a robust metal pencil-holding mechanism with adjustable gripping wings, and a removable front drawer for collecting pencil shavings.

The body bears the original embossed circular KIN manufacturer\'s logo with model number 512. The underside of the removable metal drawer is stamped \"MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA\", together with the number J1.

A charming example of vintage European office equipment, combining practical mechanical construction with the distinctive appearance of early and mid-century desk accessories.

The sharpener is in very good vintage condition, showing minor surface scratches, age-related wear, and some oxidation and patina on the metal parts. The glossy brown body presents beautifully, and the original crank and pencil-holding assembly are present.

Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the item description.
