Wonderful original c. 1930\'s Bar/Tavern Menu from The Wagon Wheel. Print does not specify a town but I believe it to be the long standing establishment located in Warren, Indiana. This historic spot operated as a staple downtown tavern for generations starting in the 20\'s and a version of it is still open today.
Handwritten annotation on the front indicates it was from a 1934 visit.
Previously removed from a portion of scrapbook page with residual glue and scrapbook paper on reverse.
Single sheet, fold out - measures approx. 3 1/2\" x 6\" when closed.
Great piece of breweriana history.
Features:
• Patrick Henry Beer (\"The Beer with an Ale Base\"): As prominently showcased at the bottom and under \"On Draught,\" Part of a massive marketing footprint via the Kiley Brewing Company out of Marion, Indiana.
• Ye Tavern Brew (\"The Beer DeLuxe\"): Proudly anchoring the top of the menu, representing the Lafayette Brewery, Inc. recipe from Lafayette, Indiana.
• Centlivre: This brand on the draught and bottle lists was produced by the historic Centlivre Brewing Corp. out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
• Berghoff: Brewed by the Berghoff Brewing Corp., another legendary pre- and post-Prohibition giant also located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
• Kamms: Listed under bottles, this was brewed by Kamm & Schellinger Brewing Co. located in Mishawaka, Indiana.
