1930s-40s Southern Pacific Co. Railroad Temp. Pass PIN Patrick & M.K. Co Frame:
$195.00

Exceptional, authentic piece of West Coast railroadiana: a vintage Southern Pacific Company Employee ID Badge Pin, complete with its original heavy metal protective frame. Measures 2".
The front features a thick, circular cast metal badge frame proudly bearing the raised text "SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY" wrapped around the perimeter. Protected inside the bezel is a vivid orange paper temporary pass insert marked with a prominent central "P", serial number L335 S, and designed for the Supt. Motive Power (Superintendent of Motive Power) department.
The back of the metal badge features a functional horizontal pin assembly with a secure hook pin catch. It is deeply stamped with the crisp maker's mark: "PATRICK AND M.K. CO. SAN FRANCISCO." This specific partnership mark cleanly dates the badge to the 1930s-40s era.
Beautiful vintage condition with an authentic, rich aged patina across the metal work. The stamped maker text and the pin back hardware on the reverse are intact and legible. The inner paper pass displays strong orange color and crisp typography showing only minor wear consistent with authentic use and age.
