sale Wizard 2000 Listing Template - AW2KLOT#:15349 The is a vintage promotional brochure titled "Scenic San Joaquin Valley and the California Sierra," featuring the region's historical slogan, "The Garden of the Sun". Produced around 1923–1924, this booklet was published by the Stanislaus County Board of Trade in collaboration with other regional organizations. It was designed to highlight the agricultural abundance and natural attractions of California's Central Valley and the High Sierra, including Yosemite National Park and various "Big Tree" groves. The booklet is printed in a distinctive orange and black ink scheme, typical of mid-1920s promotional materials. It includes a eight-panel panoramic map showing the valley's main highways, trails, and railroads, along with dozens of illustrations. The phrase "The Garden of the Sun" was a common moniker for the San Joaquin Valley during this era, often used to draw settlers and tourists to the "great all-year-round national park". It has tons of old photos. The brochure has a stain in the center that goes through all pages, all pages are attached, the back cover has a tear in the bottom right corners.
