1920s Art Deco Otis Elgin Red Lacquered Antique Cedar Lined Cigarette Box Case For Sale

Beautiful Otis - Elgin American Antique Cigarette Box manufactured in 1928. This box would have been part of a 3 piece desk set or could have been sold as a stand alone variant to the desk set (see last photo of one full set that recently sold at sale). The cedar lining is still intact and helped with humidity control. The box does not have a makers mark as it was not uncommon for these boxes to have foil stickers or have engravings on only one portion of the 3 piece set (the makers mark was on the lighter of the 3 piece set).Shows some sign of wear on the lacquer and steel but otherwise the box is still gorgeous and fully functional. Please look at photos closely and ask any questions prior to purchase. All sales final/returns not accepted.Thank you!
