About the Artwork:An authentic piece of early 20th-century ephemera featuring the iconic cover design by the master of Art Nouveau, Alphonse Mucha. Executed during his highly celebrated American period, this legendary composition masterfully represents the duality of the magazine's title. It features two symbolic figures: one representing "Journalism," an active, vigilant figure surveying the outer world against a backdrop of commerce and workshops; the other representing "Literature," a dreaming figure with closed eyes symbolizing inner creative inspiration. Together, they represent the absolute peak of Le Style Mucha.
