Assessment notice dated April 6, 1908
Assessment notice dated March 8, 1909

The assessment notices were issued to company members and direct payment to Treasurer Elizabeth Supplee at the company\'s office at 407 Swede Street, opposite the Court House, Norristown, PA. Both feature striking period typography headed “FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!”

The reverse of the 1908 notice bears a period handwritten notation reading approximately, “Paid By Money Order April 21st 1908.” The 1909 notice also has a light handwritten date notation on the reverse.

An appealing group of original Pennsylvania insurance, business and Montgomery County historical ephemera from a company founded in the 19th century.
