1895 Kings County Republican Campaign Committee Silk Ribbon Badge Brooklyn NY For Sale

Offered is an original 1895 Kings County Republican Campaign Committee silk political ribbon.

This attractive late nineteenth-century political ribbon features:

• Gold-colored silk ribbon body
• Embroidered crossed American flags
• Eagle motif at top
• Gold lettering reading:
  • "1895"
  • "Kings County Republican Campaign Committee"

Kings County is Brooklyn, New York, making this an interesting piece of early New York political history from the pre-1900 era.

The ribbon displays well with strong visual appeal despite age-related wear. Original political silk ribbons from the nineteenth century are increasingly difficult to locate, especially examples bearing county campaign organization names rather than national candidates.
