A friend brought a gentleman to our booth this afternoon, President of the National Biscuit Company. He was very much pleased with our patent heads, so pleased he said he might be able to use numbers to say of selling them out there, so I gave him one of our heads with directions and a danger with A.B.C. (he & Mr. Shaw) parsing vs. cut off. I gave him one of my samples to take home with him. Just as I was leaving for tea a \'Fine Old English Gentleman\' came up, and was so much impressed with our handle, that he bought one to take back to Old England. I left Harry Roberts at the booth as I left for tea. He says he is going to leave Haverhill and is moving down to Boston to go into some other business here.
