1888-1903 Montezuma, Indiana Masonic Lodge Ledger/W.H. SYLVESTER/MURDERED/Bank For Sale

This sale is for a heavy thick ledger that was for the "HALL OF MONTEZUMA LODGE NO. 89 F.&A.M." in Montezuma, Indiana. The pages are about half filled and go from about 1888 to 1903. Many of the pages have the signature of "W.H. Sylvester"(William Hills Sylvester 1841-1906). This man was known in the history of Montezuma as being the President of the First National Bank of Montezuma. He was tragically murdered/killed by his own brother in 1906. A great piece of history concerning the town of Montezuma and the Mason organization.In fairly good condition for its age with signs of blemishes and wear; soiling/staining; bends/creases; cover wear; tears; other blemishes and wear; etc. Please study pictures above to determine condition of item.
