Muffley & Abel Pierce of Winneshiek County, Iowa, do hereby sell and convey unto the said J. N. Muffley and Abel Pierce the following described premises, to wit: Lot No. Seven in Block No. One in the village of Ossian County of Winneshiek and State of Iowa

And I do hereby covenant to WARRANT AND DEFEND the said premises against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.SIGNED this Sixth day of October A.D. 1864.
