I do not have a microscope so many great details you may see that I can\'t. I do not have a mid wave or short wave flashlight so it is possible in some parts that it may uv light up fluoresce or is fluorescent.
This one comes from a nice collection of an old timer rock collector who rockhounded Michigan to Minnesota years back. This one is more uncommon with a nice quartz area , the eyes and tubes and some banding. Finding bigger agates like this one up there is pretty hard. To me there are hints of amethyst in at least a tiny spot. Its been partially polished to show off the top and sides and leaving the bottom rough which has some sparkles. It weighs in at 13.3oz dry. Pictures were taken dry and wet. When wet its obviously interesting on the unpolished area besides with a flashlight shining thru it. The sizes are around 3 1/8\" x 2 5/8\" x 1 1/2\". ?\'s please ask.
