Description
Bring Kira\'s calculating confidence to your collection with this 1:8 scale Light Yagami fan-art resin garage kit from Mochi GK. Inspired by Death Note, the sculpture presents Light holding an open notebook while keeping his other hand in his pocket, with a knowing smile and a relaxed stepping stance. Beneath him, a fractured chessboard rises over a rugged rocky foundation, creating a symbolic setting that complements the character\'s composed appearance and the series\' atmosphere of strategy and psychological tension.
The sculpt features layered hair, an expressive anime portrait, a textured blazer, a collared shirt, a loosened tie, and detailed trousers and shoes. The open Death Note provides an immediate character reference, while the base adds a king chess piece, scattered page forms, feather details, and a handcuff-and-chain motif across the damaged board. A sculpted Ryuk face and an apple appear among the lower rocky details, giving the display additional points of interest beyond the main figure.
This listing supplies a physical resin garage kit produced in high-quality grey ABS-like photopolymer resin. It arrives unpainted, unprimed, and unassembled for preparation, test fitting, assembly, and painting. The colored renders suggest a finishing palette of warm tan, brown, burgundy red, and contrasting black-and-white stonework; those painted finishes are not included with the raw kit. The clothing textures, portrait, notebook, and layered scenic base offer a varied collector painting project, with professional hand-painting available separately by arrangement.
Mochi GK 1:8 Statue Scale Reference
Using a standard 1800 mm / 70.9 in standing human reference, a 1:8 scale character is approximately 225 mm / 8.9 in tall. This is a character-height comparison, not Light Yagami\'s stated canonical height or a guaranteed overall statue measurement.
Light\'s stepping stance affects his posed height, while the elevated, sloping chessboard and rocky foundation add to the complete display height. The broken board extends beyond the figure and increases the display footprint. Exact assembled dimensions have not been supplied; message us on for measurements in millimeters and inches if you need to confirm shelf or cabinet clearance.

What You Get
Physical unpainted resin components for the depicted Light Yagami sculpture with his open notebook and the detailed chessboard-and-rock display base. The scenic composition includes the depicted king piece, page and feather details, handcuff-and-chain motif, Ryuk face, and apple. These are model display elements.
Assembly
ALL UNPAINTED RAW RESIN KITS SHIP UNASSEMBLED. Careful preparation, test fitting, and assembly are required. NO GLUE IS INCLUDED.
For separately arranged painted orders only, smaller painted models generally arrive mostly assembled, although fragile components may remain separate. Larger painted statues may ship partially disassembled for protection. The assembly and packing approach depends on the completed model.
Finishing
Supports are removed as much as possible from larger pieces. Smaller fragile pieces are kept on supports for safe transit and to prevent misplacing them. We recommend using nippers to carefully remove these smaller pieces.
Minor cleanup, sanding, fitting, filling, and surface preparation may still be necessary.
Shipping
Each kit is printed to order, inspected, and carefully packed, with bubble wrapping where appropriate to protect its components. Please refer to the listing for handling time and available shipping options.
