\"Sunset Flight\"—4 x 6\" canvascard ORIGINAL full color painting by Paul Rivoche For Sale

This 4 x 6\" quality canvas board features an original, highly detailed, and very rare/collectible unpublished painting done in permanent FW acrylic inkof a flying elf racing home at sunset. The setting is a warm fantasy landscape, an unknown land above the clouds. It\'s very much in the tradition of artists such as Alfred Bestall or Hayao Miyazaki.
The line art underneath the color work was made \"straight ahead\" (meaning there is no pencil work first) and is clean art on a durable and firm gessoed canvas board—making it very suitable for framing.
It\'s an image straight from the personal universe of Pro Comics artist Paul Rivoche aka ROCKETFICTION. Paul has worked for many major publishers such as DC Comics (Superman cover artist) and Marvel Comics (Iron Man cover art) as well as working in animation—as a chief background designer for the Batman Beyond series as well as for the 2023 European animated feature film ROBOT DREAMS.
This original art card-painting is a unique item and a perfect addition for collectors of comic books and memorabilia. The painting captures the essence of the modern age of comics and is in the tradition of science fiction art by artists such as Moebius, or equally, the type of world portrayed in anime movies such as those by Hayao Miyazaki. But mostly—the card is a great way to showcase your love for all things ROCKETFICTION!
NOTE: This item ships from Canada.
