Antique Wedgwood black basalt stoneware vase, circa 1880, with finely engine-turned ribbing and diced decoration. Two applied goat-mask details sit opposite each other on the smooth center band. The vase has a gadrooned rim and a flared pedestal base with a chevron-patterned border. The underside is impressed WEDGWOOD and retains a Rubin Collection label and an older dealer label identifying it as a Wedgwood basalt vase, circa 1880. There is a small nick on the top rim, shown in the photos. Measures approximately 7.75” tall × 5.5” wide. sale listing described the overall condition as good.
