WWII 2 US Knife Hand Made from Kamikaze Wreckage Original Sheath - Pacific Navy For Sale

This was made by my grandfather, Roy Wilson, while deployed in the Pacific in World War II. He claimed to have made it from Kamikaze wreckage, after it had struck their ship. I've always been fairly skeptical about that story. However, the AI analysis did come back saying that his story was likely true, given the materials and construction of the knife. It also said that such repurposing of Kamikaze wreckage was not uncommon.

The knife was falling apart in the 1980's. My father reassembled it, restoring its physical integrity. Judging by the wear, the guard and butt cap are original but were cleaned up in the restoration.

Very cool piece of history.
