Up for sale is a stunning, highly collectible vintage Royal Sealy fine china teacup and saucer set featuring the iconic and vibrant Pink Lotus Flower (Water Lily) pattern. Made in Japan during the mid-20th century (circa 1950s), this exquisite set is a masterpiece of vintage lusterware.
The saucer mimics a fully blooming lotus flower, complete with multi-shaded pink petals, a vibrant lime green and deep berry-red center, and a beautiful pale sky-blue border detailed with a delicate black fishnet/cross-hatch pattern.
The matching footed teacup carries the same gorgeous botanical design. Both pieces feature an iridescent, pearl-like luster glaze and are heavily accented with hand-painted gold trim.
Made in Japan (features the authentic red and gold Royal Sealy backstamp on the bottom of the saucer. Pattern is Pink Lotus / Water Lilly
This vintage set is in Excellent vintage condition / Great used condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs.
