Vintage Antique Hand Made Hand Stitched Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt 87" x 81" AS IS ~ Repurpose Craft Cutters Quilt
Signs of age/use/worn. Has fading, stains, holes/tears/frays to some of the fabric. (ex photos 11-23)
You can tell this was a well loved/used quilt. Great for repurpose, farmhouse decor, craft cutters. I believe most of this material is feedbag/feed sac from the 1930's-1940's.
I have not attempted to wash it but there are no bad smells. Purchased at an Estate Sale.
There are 72 flowers. Just to give you an idea on tears to them I broke them down into 4 catagories:
60 are good
5 have "Small tears" Like photo 13
4 have "Large tears" Like photo 12
3 have no 2nd layer of flowers. It doesn't look like they were torn/worn off...just looks like they were missed and never there in the first place. (ex photo 5 towards the right side the orange shaded flower).
Weighs approximately 4 pounds (prior to packaging)
