Vtg 2003 MacKenzie-Childs Majolica Butterfly Trivet A Handmade Stoneware NY, USA For Sale

This is a beautiful vintage piece of handmade, handpainted earthenware. This piece has been meticulously cared for and is completely free of chips, cracks, hairline fractures, flea bites, or glaze crazing. The top vibrant glaze is bright and glossy, and the unglazed terra cotta base rims are exceptionally clean with minimal shelf wear. One tiny spot looks like a bubble in the glaze made a dot in the paint.  See picture.

- Features the original "Hand Wash With Care" paper label with the 1983 founding company copyright.- Authentic hand-impressed clay stamps near the spine reading "2003" (production year) alongside individual artisan decorator logomark stamps.
