$54.00

Vintage wooden nutcracker made by VEB Hodrewa Rothenthal in the former German Democratic Republic (East Germany). This classic soldier wears a bright red uniform with a black hat accented in gold, a fur beard and hair and holds a wooden sword.
The underside retains the original Made in German Democratic Republic mark, identifying it as an authentic East German collectible from the Erzgebirge woodworking tradition.
Measures approximately 13.5" tall
Good vintage condition with age-related wear. One wooden foot is missing, and there is paint loss and finish wear, particularly around the base and high points.
