Vintage Service MFG Co. Yonkers, NY Military / Police Duty Rig with 1911 .45 Holster, Shoulder Strap,, Mag holder, handcuffs, and Arm Band.Rare vintage black duty rig believed to date to the Korean war-era / 1950s–70s period. This is an unusually complete setup consisting of the duty belt, cross-body/shoulder support strap, Service Manufacturing Co. holster and holder, first-aid pouch, and additional equipment pouches/holders.The holster is clearly marked:SERVICE MFG CO.YONKERS, N.Y.244845The 2448 / 45 Service MFG holster is associated with the M1911-style .45 pistol. Similar complete Service MFG black-vinyl rigs are identified by militaria dealers as Vietnam-era U.S. Military Police equipment. The black high-gloss construction is particularly characteristic of period law-enforcement/military equipment.
