Each foot is scuffed.Including finial, height is 6\" - Tin body is 4\"x4\" - Lid width is approximately 4 3/8\"
I can\'t say for sure, but according to Google, the tin itself is dated between 1950s-1970s.What I can tell you, is that the four depicted paintings are from three European artists from the 17th Century. Each artists name is written below their painting which includes their years of birth and death.
Anthony van Dyck (the tin reads DIJCK) 1599-1641 Baby Stuart A young James Stuart, who later became King James II
Frans Hals 1580-1666 The Lute Player
Pieter de Hooch 1629-1677 (per tin) Looks like he actually died in 1684 Village House Woman with a Child in a Pantry
