Vintage Solid Brass Candle Lantern / Wall Sconce For Sale

Vintage Solid Brass Candle Lantern / Wall Sconce – Cottage / Colonial Style

Beautiful vintage solid brass candle lantern (no hanger - but can be hung using latch on back) with glass panels, an architectural vented top, decorative finial, and long tapered brass base. This is a particularly attractive piece with the warmth and character that comes from naturally aged brass.

The lantern has a wonderful Colonial / English cottage / traditional look and displays beautifully mounted on a wall with a candle inside. The glass enclosure gives it much more presence than a typical brass candle sconce, and the aged finish has been left with its original patina rather than aggressively polished.

• Solid brass construction

• Glass-paneled lantern body

• Decorative vented top and brass finial

• Long tapered lower section

• Original aged brass patina

• Great cottage, Colonial, English Country, traditional or Ralph Lauren-inspired décor

• Beautiful in an entryway, library, hallway, fireplace area or covered porch setting

• Vintage condition with expected oxidation, finish variation, scratches and wear from age

A really distinctive vintage brass accent that looks fantastic illuminated with a candle.
