Vintage Schabak 1:600 AA Boeing 720 Diecast Model w/ Box Rau’s Country Store For Sale

This is a vintage Schabak 1:600 American Airlines Boeing 720 (935/29) diecast model, complete with its original box and an intact retail sticker from Rau’s Country Store in Frankenmuth, Michigan — a long‑running specialty shop known for carrying imported diecast models during the 1980s–1990s. The presence of this original sticker provides rare, verifiable U.S. retail provenance and helps confirm the model’s authentic vintage era.

The model features the polished‑metal American Airlines livery with “AMERICAN AIRLINES” printed along the fuselage and the classic AA tail logo. Schabak’s 1:600 series became one of the most collectible miniature airliner lines of the late 20th century, widely sold in airport gift shops, hobby stores, and select tourist retailers like Rau’s. Their Boeing 720 casting is especially desirable due to the aircraft’s historical role in American’s early jet‑age fleet.
