Vintage Remington UMC R3565 3 Blade Christmas Tree Celluloid Stock Pocket Knife For Sale

Vintage 3-blade premium senior stockman pocket knife manufactured circa 1924 to 1933 by Remington Arms Company UMC in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This highly collectible pre-WWII model R3565 features magnificent, multi-colored Christmas Tree celluloid handle scales with a vibrant mix of green, yellow, red, and pearlescent shards. The presentation scale is beautifully accented with an embedded nickel silver acorn shield. Built with a robust three-blade configuration, the layout includes a master clip-point cutting blade, a secondary sheepfoot blade, and a heavy-duty leather punch awl tool. The master blade features a deep, fully visible Remington UMC circle trademark stamp on the tang, while the model pattern number R3565 is stamped cleanly on the secondary blade. Mechanically, the folding assembly is fully operational; the two smaller secondary blades retain very good, crisp mechanical snap, while the large master clip blade still snaps open and closed but exhibits slightly weaker tension than the other two. The handles remain in wonderful structural shape, completely free of the shrinkage or cracks common to early celluloid. The old carbon steel blades exhibit an honest, uncleaned vintage appearance with heavy age-related patina and widespread surface oxidation spotting, including mild oxidation tarnish concentrated on the punch awl tool as pictured. The closed frame handle length measures approximately 3 7/8 inches long.
