Original vintage black-and-white gelatin-silver photograph on paper depicting steam locomotive no. 351 leading a freight train along a slightly elevated railroad right-of-way.

Viewed from a low angle near the trackside, the locomotive dominates the left side of the image with smoke drifting from its stack, front headlight and running gear visible, and a round \"SPEED LIMIT 20 M.P.H.\" sign standing beside the boiler near the cab.

At left, signal equipment and a distant commercial building appear beyond the tracks, while to the right a long string of freight cars stretches into the distance, paralleled by tall utility poles and overhead wires that recede toward the horizon beneath an open sky framed by tree branches.

The reverse carries printed credit lines for \"Pennsylvania, Lackawanna & Reading R. R. Co.\" and \"Russell Baum, Brass Hat, Box 251, Sunbury, Penna.,\" along with the small stamped number \"132\" near the lower edge.

Co. and Russell Baum, Brass Hat, plus a small stamped number 132.
