- Welcome -Offering for sale is this rare Vintage 1965 Mid Century Christy\'s Cuties Pet Creations Plush TIGER Juvenile Furniture Chair. Never used and only assembled for taking photos and to make sure all of the parts were there. We did not insert the two wood screws but they will be included with all of the other bolts, wing-nuts and the original instructions. The chair is in near mint condition having never been used or out of the original packaging but one of the white plastic covers for the bottom of the legs is cracked and photographed. The metal was wrapped in wax paper and is not rusted or chipped. During the mid-1960s, children’s furniture experienced a massive shift toward \"plushism\" and novelty realism—moving away from boring wooden chairs and transitioning into pieces that doubled as interactive toys.

The instructions say Universal of High Point Inc. and so do the box but a Christy Cuties Paper Label is glued over it. It says Fayetteville N.C.
