Vintage Knee-Hugger Pixie Elves Christmas ornaments made in Japan during the mid-20th century, featuring felt outfits and rubber faces.• Vintage Knee Hugger Elves (Japan, c. 1950s): These classic posable ornaments have flexible wire bodies designed to hug a Christmas tree branch or shelf edge, featuring molded rubber faces and brightly colored felt clothing.The internal armature wires that allow them to be posable is strong and intact. Two of the 3 have their “Japan\" Tags. Their primary vibrant felt clothing (no fading) is unstained and perfect. They come as created in their original outfits of primary colors with striped leggings and neck scarves and shiny gold belts. The “Red” pixie is missing one of his elf shoes. Their painted rubber faces are unmarred - SO CUTE.
