Cosmetic & Material Condition
Please review the photos closely, as they represent the exact knife you will receive:
Blades: The carbon steel blades carry a rich, authentic grey/mottled patina with honest pepper-pitting and surface oxidation consistent with age. There are clear signs of manual sharpening, but the blade profiles remain full and strong.
Tang Stamp: Deep, crisp "Ka-bar / 1184 USA" stamping is clearly visible at the base of the main blade.
Handles & Frame: The Stagalon (faux stag Delrin) covers are in excellent shape with deep texturing. The brass handle pins are flush, and there are absolutely no cracks or shrinkage around the pins or bolsters.
Liners & Backsprings: Solid brass liners and nickel-silver bolsters show normal surface pocket swirl marks. The interior channel displays minor historical grease/lint accumulation and light surface rust but no deep structural damage.
