The exterior has a distinctive textured, fabric-like paper surface that gives the folder an almost textile quality. The interior features decorative patterned lining and a retaining band for holding documents, papers, or travel materials.
The folder is marked \"TBI, A Division of JTBI.\" JTBI is associated with Japan Travel Bureau International. The exact age, manufacturer, and original intended purpose of this particular folder have not been confirmed.
