Vintage Coventry Ware Girl Geese Figurines Pair Farmhouse Country Decor 5\" For Sale

Charming matching pair of vintage Coventry Ware decorative figurines featuring a young bonneted girl standing with a pair of geese. The girl appears to be carrying vegetables or treats behind her back for the geese.

Each figurine retains a cork-covered base. One has a partially surviving original Coventry Ware paper label on the underside. No other maker or country markings were found.

Each measures approximately 5\" high x 3-7/8\" wide x 2-1/2\" deep. Combined unpackaged weight is approximately 18 oz.

PLEASE NOTE CONDITION: These figurines show extensive age-related wear, particularly heavy flaking, chipping and loss to the painted surface throughout, as clearly shown in the photographs. There is also discoloration/soiling consistent with age. The remaining Coventry Ware label is incomplete and worn. Please examine all photographs closely for exact cosmetic condition.

Despite the considerable finish wear, this is an appealing surviving matched pair with plenty of vintage character, suitable for a Coventry Ware collection, goose collection, farmhouse décor or restoration project.
