Vintage Chinese Rosewood Jewelry Box Brass Shou Longevity Red Silk Lined Drawer:
$59.99

Beautiful vintage Chinese-style wooden jewelry/keepsake box featuring ornate brass fittings and a traditional Shou longevity symbol on the lid.

The rich reddish-brown wood is accented with engraved brass corner pieces, decorative hardware, side carrying handles and an ornate front closure. The interior is lined in vivid red patterned fabric.

The upper lid opens to a large lined storage compartment. The lower pull-out jewelry tray features a large center compartment with padded ring-storage sections along both sides.

The Shou symbol is traditionally associated with longevity/long life, making this an especially attractive decorative and collectible piece. Comparable vintage Chinese jewelry boxes use this same motif.

Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with normal signs of age and use, including minor surface marks and patina/tarnish to the brass. Please note the removable panel shown separately in the photos. Please review all photos as they are part of the description.

Great for jewelry, rings, keepsakes, collectibles or as Asian-inspired/chinoiserie decor.
