Vintage Cast Iron and Glass Rabbit Lantern For Sale

A rare one-of-a-kind piece of garden decor, reminiscent of Japanese moon rabbit cast iron garden lanterns, although the exact origin is unknown. This piece features a cast iron rabbit that has been filled with glass that is showing through the cutouts, including the eyes as seen. It's incredible craftsmanship. At the bottom is a tea light candle holder. Lantern can sit or be hung. There is one glass whole cutout to let smoke out, and the glass piece is cracked a little here and there as shown, but still solidly intact. Cast iron is rusty and patinated and overall this piece is oozing with charm for the rustic and unique garden.

Measures ~10" long x 11" tall x 4.5" wide.
