Up for sale is a stunning, highly collectible pair of vintage brutalist cage glass goblets. Crafted using an incredible, highly demanding artisan technique, molten amber glass was hand-blown directly inside a hand-forged metal framework. The intense heat and pressure caused the glass to expand and balloon outward, forming gorgeous, smooth amber teardrops and "knobs" that dramatically contrast against the rough, industrial metalwork.

These pieces perfectly embody the raw, industrial aesthetic of Mid-Century Modern Gothic and Mexican Modernism (heavily reminiscent of the iconic work by legendary designer Felipe Derflingher.

Excellent vintage condition. Both goblets are structurally perfect with absolutely no chips, cracks, or damage to the hand-blown amber glass. They feature a heavy, rich, natural patina and verdigris oxidation on the metal bases.
