Vintage Brass Catholic Missal Bible Stand IHS Church Altar Lectern Panel For Sale

Beautiful vintage brass Catholic missal/book stand featuring an ornate IHS Christogram on the front.
The large hinged top is supported by an adjustable notched mechanism, allowing the reading surface to be positioned at several different angles. A raised brass ledge along the lower edge helps support a missal, Bible, prayer book, or other large book while in use.
The stand has a substantial architectural design with four decorative feet and an open metal framework underneath. The IHS emblem and surrounding pierced decoration give it a distinctly ecclesiastical appearance, making it a wonderful piece for a church, chapel, home altar, religious collection, or display.
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with substantial natural patina, oxidation/tarnish, surface scratches, discoloration, spotting, and other wear throughout. The top shows especially noticeable areas of finish wear and discoloration. I have intentionally left the brass unpolished so the buyer can preserve the aged patina or polish it according to preference. Please review all photos closely, as they are an important part of the condition description.
