//My dad was a proud member of the American Legion. He was very active once he retired. He was Post and County Commander. He was very busy with the baseball team. I believe the last position he held was as Post Chaplain. He tended bar, played poker, and painted the outdoor signs. I held my marriage reception at the post.
My dad sailed on the restored USS Honolulu in WWII.
