Vintage Alabama CIO Union Pin Back Badge Greenduck Co Chicago Labor Memorabilia For Sale

This vintage, silver-toned labor union pin was issued by the Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO) for the state of Alabama. The circular badge features a scalloped, textured border surrounding a central blue enamel inlay shaped like the geographic outline of the state of Alabama. Raised silver lettering clearly displays the text "ALABAMA" across the upper section and "CIO" directly below it within the map boundary.

The reverse side reveals a matte, textured silver-finished back stamped with the manufacturer's mark "GREENDUCK CO. CHI." alongside a circular union bug and an official manufacturer's shield hallmark. The pin is designed with a short threaded post attachment system and comes complete with a separate vintage screw-back cap nut to ensure a secure fit. The item measures approximately 3/4 of an inch in diameter and exhibits authentic signs of age, including fine surface scratches, slight edge wear, and minor internal oxidation on the attachment nut.
