Up for sale is a remarkably preserved, vintage 1999 Pokémon Trading Card Game 2-Player Starter Set. This is the highly desirable early-print variant featuring the rare, non-translucent AMBER glass damage counters—which remain 100% FACTORY SEALED.Unlike most sets on the market which feature later yellow translucent counters, are missing core paperwork, or have heavily played cards, this set is a collector’s dream. All contents inside are in pristine, museum-quality mint condition.### **WHAT IS INCLUDED:**
* **Complete 61-Card Deck:** All cards are in pristine, Mint/Near-Mint condition. The iconic Holofoil Machamp is exceptionally clean with stunning luster.
* **Sealed Damage Counters:** Includes the highly sought-after original solid AMBER glass beads, still securely sealed in their original factory plastic packaging.
* **Complete Paperwork:** Contains all the original, crisp vintage manuals, instructional booklets, and paperwork in fantastic condition.
* **Original Box:** The box has been opened and exhibits some minor storage squash/shelf-wear sustained over the last 25+ years (visible in photos), but has done its job perfectly by protecting the gem-mint contents inside.### **WHY THIS SET COMMANDS A PREMIUM:**
Most active listings commanding over £340 feature opened/loose cards, generic yellow translucent beads, or are completely missing the original booklets. This specific listing is a rare opportunity to own a complete, early-variant time capsule with completely sealed components and immaculate paperwork.### **SHIPPING & HANDLING:**
The item will be securely bubble-wrapped and double-boxed to ensure the outer vintage packaging is completely protected during transit. Will be shipped via a fully tracked and insured signature service.*Please review all photos carefully to see the exact condition of the box and the immaculate quality of the sealed beads and manuals.*61-Card Deck (Pack Fresh / Gem Mint Potential): Every single card in this deck is pristine. They have zero edge whitening, razor-sharp corners, and flawless gloss. The Holofoil Machamp has zero hairline surface scratches. While I am not a professional grader, these are easily case-fresh, collector-grade quality.Verified Early Shadowless-Era Box Variant: The box text explicitly displays the rare early print copyright line (1995, 1996, 1998 Wizards / 1999 Nintendo), completely validating the presence of the original solid amber glass damage counters included inside.• Complete Pristine Paperwork (V2 & V3 Books): Includes the original, highly crisp vintage rulebooks explicitly labeled Version 2 and Version 3. These versions are historically correct for this early print configuration and are rarely found together in this flawless condition.Important Buyer Note: Due to the highly volatile nature of vintage collectable card grades, this item is sold as-is with clear photos provided. It will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery (Fully Tracked, Insured, and Signature Required) to protect both parties. Video recording will be taken during the packaging process for security purposes.
