Historical Context & Rarity These original promotional buttons were handed out directly to floor traders at the entrance of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) trading floor to celebrate major milestones, launches, or high-profile VIP visits. Because they were meant to be worn on a trader\'s jacket for just that specific day, the vast majority of them were simply discarded at the end of the trading session, making surviving examples highly collectible and incredibly difficult to find today.
